About Elstree Flying School
FlyElstree is a flight training and aircraft hire club based at London Elstree Aerodrome, set up in 2009 and aimed at making flight training accessible for people travelling from London and nearby areas. It focuses on safe, calm instruction rather than simply training to pass tests. FlyElstree offers training towards the PPL, plus follow on training for the Night Rating and the UK IR(R). It offers trial lessons designed as a genuine first lesson, and supports aircraft hire, hour building, flight tests, revalidations and renewals. The club publishes an Honest Answers guide and avoids large up front lump sum payments, keeping things to pay as you go. Training is centred on Piper PA-28 Archer aircraft.
