North West Aerobatics is an advanced flying school based at City Airport Manchester Barton. It specialises in helping pilots build confidence and precision beyond basic touring, with training that is strongly focused on safety, airmanship and enjoyment. Its core strengths are aerobatic and advanced handling courses. This includes training for the UK Aerobatic Rating plus AOPA Aerobatics Certificate courses, with coaching available for pilots who want to progress into competition aerobatics. The programme also covers formation flying, upset prevention and recovery training and other advanced differences style training. Training is delivered using specialist aircraft suited to this kind of flying, including Extra 200 and 300 variants plus the Christen Eagle II. Tailwheel differences and conversion training is also offered in a Citabria 7GCAA. For first time customers, the school also offers introductory aerobatic flights and gift vouchers. Qualified pilots can also hire suitable aircraft once checked out, and training can be delivered in a customer's own aircraft where appropriate.
