PULSE Flight Training Hub is an AESA-approved ATO based at Madrid's Cuatro Vientos Airport, the general-aviation field on the south-west edge of the city. It was set up by David Fernández, a commercial pilot with more than 3,000 flying hours and a background in instruction and examining, and Natalia Calvo, an executive director trained in coaching; the pair describe the school as deliberately non-traditional, pairing the standard syllabus with what they call mental and emotional training for "high-performance pilots". Training covers the PPL(A), a modular route to the CPL(A), Flight Instructor courses, time building and SEP/MEP/IR rating renewals, plus "Pilot for one day" recreational flights and a flying club. Theory for the FI course is delivered fully online with a flexible timetable, and the school also runs ICAO English level 4, 5 and 6 exams and an aeronautical English course.
