Spa Aviation is the flying club of the Royal Aéro Para Club de Spa, a non-profit association based at the Aérodrome de Spa-La Sauvenière in the Belgian province of Liège. The airfield has been on its present site, the former Spa racecourse, since 1932, and the club traces its roots to a Liège-Spa aero club formed in 1908 before being relaunched in 1945 and receiving its royal title in 1976. Training covers the PPL(A) with theory taught in a mix of remote study and classroom sessions at the clubhouse, plus a Night Rating (NVFR), a Class Rating SEP (land) and introductory flights. The fleet of seven includes three Cessna F150s and an F152 for basic and advanced training, two Cessna F172Ns for transition and touring, and a 90 hp Piper Cub PA-19 for tailwheel flying.
