Aerodynamics Academy is an EASA-approved flight school based at the Leoni Benabú aerodrome (LEAX) in Vélez-Málaga, on the Costa del Sol, holding Spanish AESA approvals E-ATO 226 and E-ATO 314. Its 62,000 m² aviation campus sits beside the runway and takes in thirteen hangars, an in-house Part 145 / CAMO maintenance organisation and a three-storey headquarters building with direct runway access. Training runs from PPL through to the airlines, with Integrated and Modular ATPL routes, CPL, Instrument Rating IR(A), night VFR, Advanced UPRT and APS MCC. The fleet of around 30 aircraft includes Piper PA-28s, Cessna 172s and 172RGs, a Beechcraft Duchess, a Decathlon and fifteen Tecnam P2008 JCs, backed by two FNPT II devices and Airbus A320 and Cessna Citation simulators. The academy is also an Austro Control EASA examination centre, so students sit their theory exams on site rather than travelling.
