AeroPrague is an EASA approved training organisation (CZ.ATO.047) flying from Prague Letňany airport, with a second base at Ostrava Mošnov. The school trains for the PPL(A) and runs classroom theory courses for the CPL, IR and ATPL, alongside ultralight training tied to the Czech Light Aircraft Association syllabus and ICAO aviation English examinations that can be sat online. Its emphasis is firmly on modern equipment: a fleet of around 26 aeroplanes from Bristell, Cruiser, Diamond, Tecnam, Cessna and Cirrus, largely fitted with Garmin glass cockpits and several carrying ballistic recovery parachutes. More than twenty instructors teach here, a number of them also flying for airlines, air taxi and private jet operators, and licence holders can go on to rent the same aircraft for trips across Europe.
