Sky Flight Academy is an approved training organisation based at Skyoffice, Flughafenstraße 7, in Krems an der Donau, Lower Austria, with training also referenced around Vienna. It teaches the PPL(A), at about 45 practical hours for leisure flying, and an integrated ATPL(A) path that emphasises instrument flying, with 40 simulator hours and 60 aircraft IFR hours with an instructor. A trial flight is available for anyone who wants to try it first. The fleet listed on the school's site comprises an Evektor SportStar RTC, a Cessna 152, a Cessna 172S Skyhawk SP with Garmin G1000 and a Diamond DA42 Twinstar, alongside an Elite Evolution FNPT II simulator and a Cessna Citation C560 FTD. Most instructors are described as airline pilots or have business aviation backgrounds, and teaching is offered in German and English. Candidates sit an entry test covering English, mathematics and physics, and the school says lectures and flights can be adapted so training fits around a full-time job. Some programmes are financed up front by the candidate and repaid through a multi-year bonding arrangement.
