
Aviation South West is a flight training school based at Exeter Airport, with a second base in Malta. It started at Exeter in 1999. Training is done from international airports with full air traffic control. The core route is the PPL, plus trial flights. After the PPL, the school offers the Night Rating and the UK IR(R), plus differences training including microlight. For a professional pathway it offers modular CPL, MEP rating, and full Instrument Rating training on single and multi-engine aeroplanes, Competency Based IR, ATPL ground school, and Flight Instructor training.
