About Clacton Aero Club
Clacton Aero Club is a family run flying school based at Clacton Airfield on the Essex coast. It has been training pilots since 1988 and combines a relaxed club atmosphere with structured instruction for beginners, plus support for qualified pilots who want to stay current. It offers trial flying lessons (time can count towards a PPL), PPL training plus cross channel checkouts, differences training and licence revalidations, alongside aircraft hire. Instruction is one to one and the club has examiners on site. The airfield has a well maintained grass runway next to the town.
