Freedom Aviation is a flying school and club based at Cotswold Airport (Kemble), near Cirencester in Gloucestershire. Founded in 2006 by Sarah and Dave with a single aircraft, it has grown into a busy PPL school with a friendly, sociable atmosphere under Head of Training Dave Jelly. The fleet includes several Piper Warriors for core PPL training and hour building, alongside two Citabrias for tailwheel and aerobatic instruction, and an XA42 for more advanced aerobatics. Beyond routine lessons, Freedom Aviation is known for its extensive group flying adventures, taking members and trainees on trips across more than 20 countries, from Scandinavia to the Balkans and Russia, pairing flight training with genuine touring experience.
