Glasgow Flying Club is a long established, member run flying club and CAA Declared Training Organisation based on the north side of Glasgow International Airport. It positions itself as a friendly home for both qualified private pilots and people starting from zero, with training and introductory flights all operating from a busy controlled airport environment. For new pilots, the club highlights a broad training pathway, from initial taster flights through to licences and ratings. It promotes a pay as you go approach rather than asking students to buy blocks of hours. For qualified pilots, it markets aircraft rental, a social club atmosphere and opportunities to keep learning, including use of a club flight simulator. Membership required at GBP 150/year (voting membership GBP 250/year).
