Motorfluggemeinschaft Speyer e.V. (MFG Speyer) is a flying club at Speyer airfield (EDRY) in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, with a flying tradition dating back to 1912. Its newly approved EASA Approved Training Organisation offers EASA LAPL(A) and PPL(A) training, a single-engine piston class rating, night flying authorisation and, more recently, IFR instrument training. The club fleet comprises two Piper PA-28-181 Archer II aircraft, a Cessna 172 and a 2002-built Cessna 172SP, all professionally maintained, and six flight instructors are listed. Theory can be studied through distance learning, with optional in-person instruction, and flights are booked through an online system. The published 2024 price list quotes a Cessna 172N at €170 per hour including fuel, with instruction charged separately at €43 per hour.
