    About Munich Flight Academy

MFA Munich Flight Academy is a Bavarian ATO with its office in Munich and its flying operation at Augsburg Airport (EDMA), where it keeps its own briefing and flight-planning rooms. Training runs 365 days a year and can be delivered in German or English, and it covers PPL(A) and LAPL, the night flight qualification (NFQ), the full instrument family of IR, EIR and CB-IR, MEP class rating, type ratings on the Seneca, King Air C90 and Citation CJ1/CJ2, and instructor courses for FI, CRI and IRI. Instrument theory is offered as ZFU-approved distance learning, and MFA has its own examiners for IFR skill tests. The single-engine fleet is Garmin-equipped and Cessna-heavy: two C152s, several IFR-certified C172Ps, a retractable C172RG, a G1000 C172SP and a Cirrus SR20 with the CAPS parachute, backed by FNPT II simulators in Munich for SEP and MEP procedures. A published price list (valid from January 2026) quotes hourly charter and instructor rates for MFA CrewCard holders rather than fixed course packages, and the PPL syllabus is structured as 40 hours in a C152 plus 5 hours in the FNPT II. A free trial lesson and consultation is offered to prospective students.
