Shropshire Aero Club runs its flight school from Sleap Aerodrome (EGCV), a general aviation airfield near Shrewsbury. It operates as an active flying club as well as a training provider, so students train in a day-to-day GA environment. Training is delivered as a UK CAA Declared Training Organisation. The school covers common entry routes including PPL(A) training and LAPL options, plus the step from LAPL to PPL, and NPPL training. Trial lessons are offered in both 2-seat and 4-seat aircraft. The fleet includes Cessna 152s for foundational handling, and four-seat aircraft such as the Cessna 172S and Piper PA-28 Archer III. Post-licence training includes the Night Rating and IR(R). Club membership is required to train or hire club aircraft.
