South Warwickshire Flying School (SWFS) is a long-running flight training provider based at Wellesbourne Mountford Aerodrome (EGBW), close to Stratford-upon-Avon. It positions itself as a welcoming, practical place to learn, with its own dedicated training area on the airfield and a comfortable clubhouse-style base. For new students, SWFS offers structured training towards key UK licences, including PPL(A) and LAPL, with instruction available on either a part-time or more intensive basis. The school also supports pilots progressing beyond initial licensing, advertising options such as the Night Rating, IMC / IR(R) training, and FRTOL preparation. SWFS also promotes aircraft hire and a club-style environment, operating seven days a week for training and hire.
