Midlands Air Training is a long established flying school based at Coventry Airport, operating from the Airpark Flight Centre near the Midland Air Museum. It has been based at Coventry since 1972 and promotes a warm, welcoming approach for people taking their first steps into flying, whether they are looking for a new hobby, support for business travel, or the start of a longer aviation journey. For newcomers, the school offers trial lessons and gift vouchers that are designed to feel like a real introduction to learning to fly. For students who decide to continue, Midlands Air Training focuses on Private Pilot Licence training using a small fleet of Piper Cherokee aircraft. Lessons are described in a structured way that many learners value, with time set aside for a pre flight briefing, aircraft inspection, flying time and a debrief afterwards.
