Trim Flying Club is an aviation club based at Weston Airport in Backweston Park, Leixlip, County Kildare, on the western edge of Dublin. The club says it has been training people to fly since 1981, and describes a number of its former students as now flying professionally with major airlines. Training is carried out on two Cessna 172 aircraft, and the club's main offering is Private Pilot's Licence (PPL) training under the guidance of its flight instructors. As a membership-based club rather than a conventional commercial school, it asks prospective students to complete two introductory flights with one of its instructors before applying, after which the membership sub-group and committee consider the application.
