Atlantic Air Academy is based at Alvedro Airport in A Coruña, Galicia, and describes itself as the first flight school integrated into an airline, linked to the operator Atlantic Air Solutions, whose active pilots instruct on the programme. It is positioned as the only airline-connected pilot school in north-west Spain. Training runs from the Curso Piloto Privado (PPL) through the modular route of ATPL theory, CPL, multi-engine instrument rating, UPRT and MCC/JOC, as well as an integrated airline pilot course of around 240 hours of flight and FNPTII simulator training. Instructor ratings (FI, IRI and CRI) are also taught, and an online campus supports the theory side.
