Wings over Holland is a general aviation flight school at Lelystad Airport in Flevoland, founded in 1983 and led by Luuk van Hooijdonk, whose aircraft maintenance business Wings Maintenance joined the organisation in 1989. The school offers trial lessons, PPL and CPL training, a frozen ATPL route, an aerobatics rating, upset prevention and recovery training, and flight instructor courses and refresher seminars, as well as help revalidating single-engine, multi-engine and instrument ratings — more than fifteen training programmes in all. It flies over ten of its own aeroplanes, a mixed fleet taking in Cessnas, Diamond types, taildraggers and Fujis, which qualified pilots can also hire, and it acts as a Diamond dealer. Its aerobatic display flying is a familiar sight at Dutch airshows and on television.
