Aero-Club Hodenhagen is a flying club based at Hodenhagen airfield (EDVH) in Lower Saxony, Germany, where powered flying, gliding, ultralight flying and motorised paragliding all operate from the same field. On the powered side the club teaches EASA LAPL(A) and PPL(A) courses, VFR night flying under FCL.810, motor-flight taster lessons and refresher training, with ultralight and glider training run alongside. The motor fleet includes a Piper Archer III, two Aquila A210s, two FK9 Mark VI aircraft and a HK36 Super Dimona motor glider, with a separate glider fleet including a DG 1000T, ASK 21, ASK 23b and Discus B. Gliders are launched by a self-built 305 PS inline turbo-diesel winch, an unusual feature for a club of this size. Aircraft are charged by the hour, with a frequent-flyer tariff giving a 10% reduction on the standard rates.
