Airwin Portugal Flight Academy is an EASA-approved ATO operating from Castelo Branco Municipal Aerodrome (LPCB) in central Portugal, about two hours' drive from Lisbon. The academy says the location allows students to fly close to 300 days a year; the aerodrome has a 1,460 m asphalt runway and a 1,000 m² hangar for resident and visiting aircraft. Training runs from the PPL(A) through the full professional pathway: an ATPL(A) Modular route, an Integrated ATPL(A), ATPL(A) theory delivered by e-learning, CPL(A), multi-engine piston (MEP) rating, Flight Instructor (FI) and Advanced UPRT courses. The training fleet is built around the Aero AT-3 R100, a Polish-built two-seat, all-metal low-wing trainer with fixed tricycle undercarriage and a Garmin G500 glass cockpit, which the school uses across all phases of basic training.
