About Sevenair Academy

Sevenair Academy trains EASA integrated ATPL(A) pilots from Cascais aerodrome (LPCS) near Lisbon and from its residential campus at Ponte de Sor (LPSO) in the Alentejo. It belongs to the Sevenair Group, the largest general aviation group in Portugal, and is a network member of the Airbus Flight Academy. The integrated course runs to roughly 24 months, taking students with little or no previous experience through theoretical knowledge, single- and multi-engine piston flying, performance-based navigation, multi-crew cooperation and upset prevention and recovery training to a frozen ATPL(A); a flight instructor course is offered alongside it. The Ponte de Sor campus provides around 300 double rooms on site with direct access to an 1,800-metre runway equipped with an ILS, and the academy flies a fleet of about 40 aircraft, most of them with glass cockpits.
