    About Alpaviation

Alpaviation is an EASA-certified flight training centre (CH.ATO.0147) at Bern-Belp Airport in Belp, trading since 1988 and formed through the merger of MALBUWIT and alp-air. Its training is modular, running from the LAPL(A) and PPL(A) through the CPL(A), ATPL(A), instrument and multi-engine ratings to instructor courses, with night flying, UPRT and high-performance aeroplane add-ons and type training on aircraft such as the Pilatus PC-12 and PC-6; it is also a SPHAIR partner. A fleet of 16 aircraft is used for training and hire, including Bristell B23s, Cessna 172s and 182s, a Piper Archer, a Cirrus SR22T, a Diamond DA42, a Piper Super Cub and an FFA Bravo AS-202. Bern-Belp is a Class D airport with scheduled airline traffic and a 1,730-metre runway, so circuit work is flown alongside regional jets, with the Bernese Alps only minutes away after take-off.
