About Aviation South West Malta
Aviation South West Malta is a dual-approved training organisation, holding both a UK CAA (GBR.ATO.0118) and Transport Malta (MLT.ATO.10) certificate, and now operates from Malta International Airport having originally been founded at Exeter International Airport in 1999. The school covers the full route from Private Pilot Licence through Night Rating, Multi-Engine Piston rating, Instrument Rating and Commercial Pilot Licence, plus ATPL ground school delivered residentially or by distance learning in partnership with PAD Pilot. Its flagship Direct to First Officer programme takes trainees from zero experience to a frozen ATPL in 52 weeks, offered as either a dual modular or EASA integrated course, alongside flight instructor training, hour building and short trial flight experiences for newcomers.
