About Cranfield Flying School

Cranfield Flying School is based at Cranfield Airport in Bedfordshire and offers a broad spread of training from first lessons through to advanced qualifications. It operates in an airport environment with a long paved runway and published instrument approaches. For newcomers, the school promotes trial lessons. At private pilot level it delivers core training such as the PPL, plus add-ons including the Night Rating and aerobatic training. Its published course range includes commercial training and instrument training, including a multi engine instrument rating route, as well as instructor training. Training is supported by a mixed fleet built around Cessna and Piper aircraft.
