EPAG NG is a professional pilot academy based at the Aérodrome de Merville-Calonne in Merville, in the Nord department of Hauts-de-France, within easy reach of Lille. Its flagship programme is a 24-month integrated ATP course designed for students with no previous flying experience, opening with an aviation-English assessment aimed at reaching ICAO level 5 and then nine months of classroom ATPL theory taught in English across fourteen certificates. Flying then progresses through a clearly staged fleet. Early dual and solo VFR training and the night rating are flown on the Diamond DA40; the IFR phase and the CPL skill test are flown on the SOCATA TB20 with the school's ALX simulator; and the MEP and IR/ME phases use a Diamond DA42 or, for students who want a more demanding aircraft, a Beechcraft Baron 58. Advanced UPRT is taught on the TB20 and an Extra 330 LT, and the course closes with MCC/JOC in the ALX. Alongside the integrated route EPAG NG runs a modular ATP path, PPL, standalone ATPL theory, MEP, IR-ME and night qualifications, and instructor and examiner courses including FI(A), IRI(A) and FE(A) at PPL and CPL level. It also delivers single-engine turbine class ratings on the Cessna 208 Caravan and Pilatus PC-6, and several of its courses are eligible for French CPF funding.
