About Goodwood Flying School
Goodwood Flying School operates from Goodwood Aerodrome near Chichester in West Sussex. Its fleet is six aircraft: four modern glass-cockpit Cessnas, a Piper Super Cub for tailwheel flying and a historic Harvard, and it also offers self-fly hire, including evening and out-of-hours slots. Training covers the PPL and NPPL with groundschool and a Cessna 172 simulator, then ratings for qualified pilots including the IMC Rating, CBIR, Tailwheel Conversion and a Farm Strip course. Instructor training is offered through FIC and CRI courses. Trial lessons in a Cessna start from 185 pounds per person, and the school promotes the Rob Wildeboer Scholarship for aspiring pilots. From Goodwood, Le Touquet and the Channel Islands are roughly an hour's flight away.
