Newcastle Flight Simulator Centre, trading as the Flight Sim Centre, is a simulator-only venue on the Brunswick Industrial Estate near Newcastle Airport in Tyne and Wear, open seven days a week by appointment. It is not an aircraft flying school: it sells simulator experiences and short courses in fixed-base cockpits including a Boeing 737-800, an Airbus A320neo, Concorde, a Lancaster bomber, a Spitfire and Messerschmitt Bf109 pairing marketed as the UK's only Battle of Britain simulator, F/A-18, F-16 and F-35B fast jets, and a Bell 206 JetRanger built from a real helicopter fuselage. Beyond gift-voucher sessions (from around £40), the centre runs a one-to-one Fear of Flying course with a professional pilot, a five-hour Future Pilot's Course for aspiring aviators, a two-hour Military Aviation Experience, and Boeing 737 refresher and airline-assessment preparation sessions. The business is owned and run by professional pilots and holds a TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice award.
