Full Sutton Airfield is a GA airfield near York in North Yorkshire, offering a mix of flight training, trial lessons and aircraft hire in a friendly club setting with an active social scene around the clubhouse. It provides a clear route into private flying with ground school support and help with radio work and written exams, with structured briefings and debriefs, and fast track training and ground school classes available. Trial flying lessons and experience flights are a key offering. As students progress, the centre offers UK night flying, instrument skills training, tailwheel or differences training and type conversions. Most training is on Piper PA-28 aircraft, with Cessna and aerobatic options on request, plus solo hire seven days a week.
