Advance Helicopters is a helicopter flight school based at Brighton City Airport (Shoreham) in West Sussex. It runs from Hangar 4 and operates year-round, seven days a week, using an online booking system. Training takes place at an airport with full air traffic control. The training side covers the normal private-to-professional pathway: private helicopter training and commercial training, plus hour building as a structured step between the two, and a published Professional Pilot Programme. For pilots who already hold a licence, the school offers proficiency checks and add-on training, including a night rating course. The fleet includes the Robinson R22, Schweizer 300, R44 variants, R66 and the MD-500, with type rating training on several types. It also supports the UK Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELCAS).
