Blue Air is an EASA-approved flight school based at Skive Airport (EKSV) in Jutland, Denmark. It trains private and professional pilots through LAPL(A), PPL(A), VFR night, CPL(A), single- and multi-engine instrument ratings, an en-route IR and modular or integrated routes, using small two- and four-seat single-engine piston aeroplanes. Theory is delivered mainly through home study combined with concentrated evening and weekend sessions, with one-to-one tuition available and teaching material in both Danish and English. Practical flying is completed in a concentrated block at the school's department in Portugal, which the school says avoids the weather delays common in Denmark and so cuts the extra flight hours students would otherwise need. The school lists a trial lesson for anyone wanting to try flying first.
