AEROTOURS is an approved training organisation (DE.ATO.074) at Strausberg airfield, around 30 kilometres east of Berlin. It grew out of the former PEGASUS flight school and has traded under its present name since 2000. Training covers the full ladder of licences: the LAPL(A) and PPL(A) with eLearning theory, modular and integrated routes to a frozen ATPL(A) — including a version combined with a Bachelor of Arts — and the CPL(A). Ratings on offer run from the IR(A) and competency-based IR to night VFR, multi-engine piston, a Garmin G1000 glass-cockpit course and instructor qualifications from FI(A) through IRI to MCCI. The school also teaches German and English radiotelephony and ICAO language proficiency, and flies a fleet of roughly 17 aeroplanes spanning the Cessna 152 and Diamond DA20 up to the Cirrus SR22, Diamond DA42 NG and Piper Cheyenne.
