Aviomar Flight Academy is an EASA-approved flight training organisation (ATO IT.ATO.0003, under ENAC oversight) that has operated from Rome's Urbe Airport since 1982, with further bases at Monterotondo and Parma airports. The school runs a fleet of more than 23 training aircraft, including Cessna 152, 172, 172RG and 172SP G1000 models, Piper PA34-200 twins and Diamond DA42s, alongside six flight simulators covering Level D Boeing 737-800W and Airbus A320 full-motion devices. Aviomar trains pilots from PPL and LAPL through to CPL, frozen ATPL (integrated and modular) and instructor ratings (FI, IRI, CRI, TRI, SFI, MCCI), and is a partner academy in the Ryanair Future Flyer cadet programme, running Ab-Initio and Gateway pathways for prospective airline pilots. The school also has its own aircraft maintenance division and on-site aeromedical examination centres, with financing available through a partnership with BNL bank.
