Professional Aviation Academy is an EASA-approved training organisation (ATO) based at the FlyOzzano airstrip on Via Sabbionara in Ozzano dell Emilia, near Bologna. The school says it has been training aspiring pilots for over 20 years, with more than 30 full-time instructors and around 60 graduates a year. Courses cover the aeroplane PPL (45 hours of flight training alongside 100 hours of classroom theory, typically completed in about six months), ATPL theory, flight instructor training and VDS ultralight, as well as helicopter PPL(H) and modular and integrated CPL(H) routes. Training also includes a flight simulator and hour-building flights. The fleet is stated as 30+ aircraft with glass-cockpit avionics, and the fleet page lists the Mudry CAP10, Tecnam P92, P2008 and P2006 aeroplanes plus the Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopter.
